Never had Ethiopian food before so I didnt know what to expect but the food was amazing. Food may be a bit too spicy for some to tolerate but is perfect for someone like me. Place was really clean and the staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Loved the service and food just so small, not much atmosphere!

My fiancée and I are OBSESSED with this place! I think we could consider ourselves regulars at this point. We come so often they know us and give us the note pad to order our own platters. The food is amazing (I dance mid-meal every, single time lol), my fiancée is vegan, I’m a carnivore but we’re both happy with our meals every time we visit. The meals have large portions at a great price, it’s BYOB with a minimal corking fee, they play Ethiopian music videos featuring beautiful black women and equally beautiful music. If you’re the coffee drinking type make sure you get the coffee, allow them to pour it for you, this is an experience in itself and if you ask, they’ll teach you the correct way to pour a cup for yourself. My only critique/friendly suggestions would be for them to invest more into creating the space and atmosphere to compliment such amazing food and service. Keep up the amazing work folks! We’ll be back soon! LB

I've tried a few Ethiopian places around Baltimore and this has been the best. It's a small hole in the wall place with very friendly staff. It's not your typical restaurant experience but the food is delicious! It's BYOB

I've had a fair share of Ethiopian food, and this was really only okay. The food was fine, and the lamb and beef were good, although our cabbage and collard greens were undercooked and underseasoned, and all the flavors were a bit weak compared to great traditional Ethiopian food. The service was definitely poor: we didn't get water for 5-10 minutes and the only person there didn't speak English, making ordering and asking any questions very difficult. The sitting area feels like the space I would expect for a deli. Overall, it's a fine place to grab lunch at, but I wouldn't make any special effort to come here.
